About H.L. Holtmann
Due to his father's career in the Air Force, H. L. “Skip” Holtmann had an opportunity to live and attend school in many different places, including Japan, Okinawa, Hawaii, Texas, Montana, Idaho, Alabama, Pennsylvania, the Washington, D.C. area and Oklahoma.
Upon graduating from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, he joined the U.S. Air Force. After five years of service with tours of duty in the Philippine Islands, Louisiana, Texas and Alaska, he was honorably discharged having attained the rank of Captain.
Upon returning to his native state of Oklahoma, Skip worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, eventually becoming the Superintendent of the Tulsa Community Treatment Center. During his tenure with the Department of Corrections, he also attended the University of Tulsa College of Law. He completed his Juris Doctor Degree and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 1979. He is admitted to practice before all of the courts of Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma Supreme Court. Skip is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma and the Supreme Court of the United States.
After graduation from law school, he worked as an Oil and Gas Landman for several independent oil and gas exploration companies in Tulsa, Oklahoma. H. L. Holtmann Law Office, P.C. which was established in 1986, is engaged in the general practice of law, with emphasis in the areas of Personal Injury, Insurance Law, Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts and Probates. The Practice also represents clients in other areas, including Business Law, Oil & Gas Law, Real Estate and Civil litigation.
Skip’s wife, Jean Holtmann, has been the Business Manager of H. L. Holtmann Law Office, P.C. for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and prior business management experience in the New York City area.
